Rinse meat, dice into cubes and fry in oil. Add finely chopped onion and finely chopped spicy peppers. Wet with water and cook for fifteen minutes.
Add wine, skim floating residue and cook some more until the wine has penetrated the meat. Afterwards, add diced potatoes, sliced sweet peppers, a bit of salt and enough water to cover vegetables. Cook until potatoes are close to done and add tomatoes, tomato juice and tomato paste. Gently mix and season to taste with salt, pepper and paprika.
Leave on low heat until liquid evaporates a bit and you get a stew-like consistency. Sprinkle with finely chopped verdeaţa and serve with seasonal salads.
